This workshop will provide participants with an overview of the child-caregiver relationship and the necessary dimensions needed to exist to promote a health and secure attachment between child and caregiver. An overview of attachment models will be presented in addition to assessment used to determine the attachment style between the child and caregiver. Participants will be provided with an overview of the 10-session model developed by Landreth & Bratton, Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) and be taught basic play therapy techniques.
3.0 CE clock hours for re-licensure; no NBCC credits through LCA.
