Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Training (Shreveport)

This training will increase clinician's understanding and awareness of trauma and ACE's and help to identify Adverse Childhood Experiences and appropriate Trauma-related diagnoses, inform on the human development for children who have experienced trauma, include information on how to provide better trauma-informed care and connect with the client, increase advocate support and education, learn about prevention for this population, and inform clinicians on how to assess individuals and determine their level of trauma, and distinguish between acute trauma and the development of individuals experiencing trauma at a young age.
