Tired of the same old substance abuse group topics? Want some new ideas and creative ways to conduct group? Then this is the workshop for you! It can be difficult to consistently come up with new group ideas that are engaging for both the client and counselor. This workshop will present a variety of creative group ideas and activities to provide engaging and meaningful groups for both clients and group facilitators. Ideas and activities will be presented based on mindfulness, art, role play, CBT/REBT, music and relaxation. This is an interactive presentation and participants will have an opportunity to engage in activities presented.
