The Louisiana Department of Health, Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities (OCDD) and Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) are co-sponsoring an education and training program to support effective behavioral health treatment for youth with co-occurring developmental disabilities (DD) and serious emotional disturbance (SED). The training series includes Session One: Emotional Wellness, Assessment and Diagnosis Issues (3 hours), between-session self-study, and Session Two: Trauma Informed Supports and Treatment (1 hour seminar – no CEUs), Treatment and Therapeutic Modifications (2 hours). The training series is being offered in 3 locations; New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Shreveport. Pre-registration using the Eventbrite links is required.
