In this experiential workshop, Dr. LeAnne Steen will discuss the basic skills in using sandtray with adolescent and adult clients, including couples and families. Participants will learn how to properly organize a sandtray area with a variety of well selected miniatures. Additionally, we will discuss basic processing skills, ethical considerations, play therapy best practices, and trauma informed best practices. Participants will have the opportunity to work with miniatures to build a basic sandtray, and to practice basic processing skills, in pairs.
