Parent Coordination Learning Series

This Workshop Series is designed to provide Parent Coordinators with practical information to apply to their practice. Upon completion of the 5-part series, participants will be to recognize and manage the most common obstacles to cooperative and positive co-parenting.  This is the first session in a series presented 10/18; 1/17; 3/20; 5/15.

 

The 10/18/19 workshop, "The Ethics of Developmentally Appropriate Parenting Plans" will provide participants developmentally appropriate parenting plans. The 1/17/20 workshop, "Diagnosing Personality Disorders and Managing Traits," will provide participants a review of diagnostic criteria along with information to assist them in managing personality disorder behaviors in practice. The 3/20/20 workshop, " Reunification Therapy," will provide participants practical techniques to improve family dynamics and relationships. The 4/17/20 workshop, "Recognizing Symptoms of Substance Use Disorders," will provide a review of DSM V Criteria for diagnosis. The 5/15/20 workshop, "Toxicity in Divorced Families," provides participants information regarding the manifestations and interventions of high conflict divorce.

This series will award 10 CE clock hours for professional counselors.  The workshop was not reviewed for NBCC credit.
