“Open Talks”, a health education conference hosted by Open Health Care Clinic is scheduled for Friday, October 18 from 8:00am-3:30pm at the L’Auberge Casino & Hotel in Baton Rouge. The conference theme this year is health equity and will include three tracks: Women’s Health, LGBTQ and Aging. As in year’s past the day’s coursework will provide five educational units for LPCs, nurses and social workers, allow networking with colleagues and vendors and provide the information, skills and resources needed for attendees to advocate for their patients.
