RECOGNIZING AND REPORTING CHILD ABUSE

 In this interactive workshop, Dr. Emily Jones and Camille Phillips, M.S. will address current realities surrounding child abuse and how therapists and clinicians must address the issue.

 This workshop will explain the various signs of abuse/neglect that clinicians must be aware of as mandated reporters. It will give clinicians the tools and resources to discuss body safety/safety with parents and children. This workshop will address the law and ethics around appropriate reporting and what that process entails.
