ACA Code of Ethics: Tech Related Topics, Ethical Decision-Making, and Terminology

The LCA Acadiana LPC Networking Group will meet August 13 at Alesi's, 4110 Johnston St., Lafayette.  Participation is open to LPCs, PLPCs, LMFTs, PLMFTs and students.   No pre-registration is required.

This session will award 1.5 CE clock hours.   

  The Louisiana Counseling Association has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP #2019.  Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified.  LCA is solely responsible for all aspects of the program.    

 

 

CE certificates  will be given to members of LCA.  

The present for this session will be Vicki Guilbeau, MS, LPC, NCC, NCSC.   Mrs. Guilbeau has a Masters Degree in Psychology with a specialist in School Psychology from the University of Louisiana Lafayette.  She has worked 30 years for the Lafayette Parish School System.  She also has a private practice.

This session will include discussion concerning the ACA Code of Ethics, ethical decision making, Code language, a decision-making model including case examples  followed by Q&A and discussion.
