Clinical Considerations for LGBTQ+ Populations

3/27/2020 - 3/27/2020
9:00 AM - 12:15 PM
Location:  Broadmoor Improvement Association, 3900 General Taylor, New Orleans, Online

LGBTQ+ clients face an alarming disparity in both the access to care and the clinical outcomes related to care when it comes to mental health. This continuing education workshop will explore the sources of those disparities and provide practical solutions in allowing providers to become more adept in providing competent, client-centered care to a population that often faces unique challenges relative to their gender identity and/or sexual orientation.
