This workshop will address the way humans change and participants will learn how to assess and develop strategies for creating positive change in clients with a wide range of diagnoses and presenting complaints. This workshop will teach motivational interviewing techniques that can be used to create the most effective assessments and treatment plans.  Participants will  learn to the concepts of hope and confidence and their applications to various clinical populations. They will learn the Four Corners and 9 Strategies for building confidence using motivational interviewing techniques.
