Participants in this webinar will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the function and process of supervision including current guidelines for ethics in supervision. They will learn alternative models of supervision including an overview and evaluation of the various roles of the supervisor. Participants will demonstrate an understanding of the humanitarian values of social work. Additionally, participants will learn the meaning and value of mindfulness in their lives and their work as well as effective tools for infusing their clinical work with mindfulness practice. Participants will have the opportunity to share personal struggles, questions and concerns and learn strategies for improving supervision skills.
