The webinar will address how the pandemic, political and environmental climates have affected individuals. The autonomic stress response will be reviewed as well as traditional and nontraditional methods in the treatment of stress will be discussed and explored.
o Discuss the common symptoms of stress experienced and types of stress acute versus chronic
o Explore factors that influence stress levels ( i.e. environmental, political, racial climate)
o Review the symptoms of anxiety and depression and traditional treatment approaches to treatment
o Explore non traditional approaches to treatment . Provide strategies for identifying and managing stress.
