9:00 AM - 10:30 AM
Location: In person; Present Hope Counseling, 27999 Old South Walker Rd, Walker; Approved for 1.5 CE hours in Diagnosis, Walker, LA

Intrusive thoughts can result in significant levels of stress and shame within the client. Conversely, it can often be challenging for a therapist to differentiate between dangerous thinking patterns and innocuous intrusive thoughts related to sexual deviance, violence, and blasphemy. This training will enable the participant to identify intrusive thoughts and understanding their origins. The participant will also learn how intrusive thoughts manifest in multiple diagnoses as well as options for treatment.

The speaker is Kelli Hill, LPC-S.
