American families are constantly morphing, and most will have contact with the Family Court system at some time. Mental health professionals can offer their expertise to help families cope with changes with minimal trauma. This rewarding interdisciplinary work allows us to serve families in transition have a more humane experience in the legal system.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify 7 distinct roles MHPs can play in Family Court-related work.
  • Explain the specific duties and boundaries of each of these roles.
  • Discuss the relevant training for each role.
This workshop is approved for 2.75 CE clock hours.  NBCC credit is not available for this workshop.
