This course will focus on working with LGBTQ clients, addressing mental health issues and the impact of discrimination, exploring significant social and historical issues in the medical/mental health profession, and discussing best practices. The course will briefly touch on the experience of spouses/partners, and parents of LGBTQ people and explore the lexicon of LGBTQ terminology.
The presenter, Davina Kotulski Ph.D.is a licensed psychologist, life coach, spiritual counselor, award-winning author and speaker, and nationally known LGBT rights leader.
The workshop will award 1.0 CE clock hour (general).
