This workshop will identify global changes that have occurred over the past two years and the many stressors evident in children’s and adolescents’ lives today. The use of play therapy will be reviewed and discussed to further expose practitioners to evidence-based modality in treating children, adolescents, and families. The therapeutic powers of play, inherent in play therapy, will be identified. Specific disorders including anxiety, mood, behavioral, and adjustment will be discussed and how play therapy can be used to facilitate progress and change.
