Grief and Loss: The impact of loss on mind, body and soul

This workshop will define the concept of loss. What is a loss? Participants will learn to differentiate grief  from Depression and Anxiety diagnoses including specialized intake assessment tools. They will learn tools for healthy coping skills and how to utilize attachment theory in grief work. Attendees will discuss specific issues that can affect grief and coping, including substance use and anxiety as well as discuss very specific losses that bring unique issues with them, including motherless daughters and traumatic loss.  Participants will learn specific techniques and tools for healing including mindfulness and meditation tools.
