Intro to Maternal Mental Health- Learn about the various perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, screenings, and hear insight from other mothers' experiences before, during, and after birth. This training is for anyone who has an interest in learning more about maternal mental health and supporting women during the perinatal period. This training is hosted by Jessica Latin, LPC-S, PMH-C..

Learning Objective:  

Identify risk factors and symptoms of perinatal mental illnesses to ensure an accurate diagnosis.
Apply appropriate screening and treatment interventions for your perinatal patients.
Empower professionals to discuss local, state, and national resources with your patients experiencing perinatal mental illness.
Discuss ethical dilemmas, racism, and biases within the maternal mental health field.
