Come and join us for a day of learning, information sharing, celebration, T-shirts, and food and fellowship. Information will be available through workshops, exhibition booths, plenary sessions, legal panel discussion, coffee, and conversation.
The Learning Objectives for this workshop:
To provide counselors and other professionals with direct contact with grandparents and other kinship care givers so that they are able to identify caregiver needs - by assessment, conversation, and review of data.
To provide counselors with specific information about legal issues faced by grandparents raising their grandchildren.
To provide workshops that will enhance professional counselor practice, and also inform grandparents.
