In efforts to address the lack of specialized, evidence-based services for Human Trafficking survivors, the Louisiana Department of Health – Office of Behavioral Health, in partnership with the Center for Evidence to Practice, will be sponsoring a Human Trafficking training for behavioral health practitioners. This training will equip practitioners with the knowledge and skills to adapt and implement evidence-based treatments (TF-CBT or EMDR) when working with child survivors of human trafficking. This training will be stand-alone for clinicians not trained in TF-CBT or EMDR, and a prerequisite for clinicians trained in TF-CBT &/or EMDR who want to attend the secondary training that will be offered soon.

The presenter is Stacy Faulkner, Clinical Director Hope House Children’s Advocacy Center, LPC-S
