Utilizing a biopsychosocial approach, this workshop will address how various trauma and Attachment issues affect a person on a multidimensional level. A primary goal of this workshop is teaching how trauma affects the body and how clinicians can help clients navigate trauma using a bottom-up approach. With a broad introduction to various trauma-informed modalities, clinicians will learn to appropriately diagnosis, create a treatment plan, and implement modalities with client-centered care being the forefront. Learn about ethical considerations, current terminology and safe environment training when working with LGBQTIA+ clients.
