Woman’s Foundation, in partnership with Acadiana Area Human Services District and Louisiana Department of Health – Office of Behavioral Health , is hosting The Community Opioid Symposium, a live educational event taking place on April 3, 2023 at Acadiana Area Human Services District in Lafayette, Louisiana. This educational event is designed specifically to meet the educational needs for health care professionals including addiction specialists, social workers, licensed professional counselors, physicians, and nurses. The goal of this event is to give healthcare providers additional knowledge about the epidemic and to increase their knowledge on how they can help manage the crisis.
