Samuel O. Adeosun, RPh, Ph.D. will be presenting “’Nah’ to Naloxone: The Roles of Risk Compensation Beliefs and Stigma” on April 27th, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.  This is a free virtual event.  Please visit www.womansfoundation.com/cos to register.

The roles that risk compensation and stigma in the distribution and acceptance of naloxone is not well known.  An understanding of these concepts would facilitate more recommendation of naloxone by practitioners and its acceptance by patients.  This educational event will help attendees to recognize the reasons why patients may reject naloxone offers/recommendation as well as understand the “myth” of risk compensation beliefs with respect to naloxone.

Webinar will be held via ZOOM. The link to the webinar will be sent out to registered attendees 24 hours prior to the event.
