Join us for the next event in LCA's Ask the Expert series with June Williams, who presents on the topic, "Prolonged grief disorder in the DSM-5 TR."

Prolonged grief disorder (PGD) is a new and controversial diagnosis only recently added in the DSM-5 TR. This presentation will provide an overview of the primary features of PGD and share views of grief experts who both embrace the diagnosis and who believe that diagnosing grief pathologizes a normal experience.  Participants will be provided with information to aid in distinguishing PGD from healthy grief as well as how to recognize the benefits and dangers of diagnosing PGD.

The live session is worth 1.0 CE clock hour in Diagnosis

Ask the Expert sessions occur every second Friday from 11 am-12 pm CT.
