Counselor Supervisor Training for LPC-S Credential

This is an online program. This 25- hour program is presented in 4 modules and offered twice during the year. Therefore, participants may complete the modules in any sequence as long as they complete all modules in the 2023-2024 year. The cost of the program is $345.00
To be approved by the LPC board as an LPC-S, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Louisiana is required to have been practicing counseling a minimum of 3 years after licensure and must have completed supervision training within 5 years of application for board-approved supervision. This training program was specifically designed to meet the requirements for supervision training. This course is available to all LPC, PLPC, or counseling graduate student who plans to apply for the LPC-S designation in the upcoming 5 years.
Every training module of the 25-hour training will be taught by counselors who currently hold the LPC-S designation in Louisiana. Training sessions will be conducted via Zoom. Before beginning the modules, a one-hour introductory orientation session will be required. Each module of training will be offered on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:00am to 2pm (Central). The dates are provided below. Participants will receive 25 continuing education hours that have been approved by the Louisiana Counseling Association. The fee for the 25-hour workshop series is $345.00.
