This fall institute will focus on getting back to the basics of group treatment. The who, what, when, where, and how, with emphasis on the HOW. Group treatment has been researched to be as highly effective as individual treatment. Most people can benefit from group therapy so why do many clinicians not run groups or refer to clinicians who do? Emphasis will be placed on Yalom's concepts. We will operate as a group from beginning to end. Come join LGPS and colleagues for a day long refresher course, learning something new or validating what you already know.
