The Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders is an evidenced based model used to work with clients with a range of mood and anxiety disorders. Viewing mental health disorders on a spectrum, often clients have different disorders and have symptoms that overlap these disorders. Unified Protocol provides clients a base for managing their emotions, as well as guiding practitioners in this endeavor. Part I will cover modules 1-5. Part II will cover modules 6-10.

DBT originally developed by Marsha Linehan to work with clients with Borderline Personality Disorder has shown success with other client populations. DBT focuses on teaching skills for clients to live their best lives. These four modules review mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal skills.
