  This workshop is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide responsible and culturally sensitive diagnosis in counseling practice, in accordance with ethical guidelines and best practices.

  The objective of this workshop is to enhance counselors' understanding and application of ethical guidelines related to evaluation, assessment, and diagnosis, as outlined in Section E of the ACA Code of Ethics 2014. Specifically, the workshop will focus on the importance of providing proper diagnosis of mental health disorders, avoiding historical and social prejudices in diagnosis, and considering cultural factors in the diagnostic process.
