The focus of this conference is to allow professional, community stakeholders, and organizations to experience with grandparents raising grandchildren the multiple facets of second round parenting. Louisiana is 3rd in the nation for children raised by grandparents or other kin.
On the agenda, there are two workshops scheduled. Of the sessions offered only 2 are available for LPC credit: "The Grand Rescie Continues: The Persistent Opioid Crisis and the Increasing Rise of Grandfamilies" and "Transitions"
