This workshops is sponsored by the Jewish Family Center for Greater New Orleans. This workshop will deal with how to provide affirming care and assessment to LGBTQAI youth. This will include exploration of current research, legal barriers and unique risks experienced by LGBTQAI youth.
Attendees will learn and discuss ways LGBTQ can be effectively provided assessment and care, including effective strategies for supporting youth within their family and community systems.
