Through the lens of Compassionate Inquiry®, attendees will learn a somatic-based approach to using Polyvagal Theory (PVT) exercises in their clinical practices.  This 3 hour in-person workshop will focus on education, experiential learning and application of skills for use with clients.

Beginning with Education, participants will learn the theory and practice of Polyvagal Theory.   This will include discussion of Autonomic Nervous System and how this method can be used to help clients learn techniques of self-regulation.

Through Experiential practices, attendees will be able to incorporate exercises and ask questions while fully embodying the experience. This firsthand objective learning will allow for a deeper understanding of how these exercises work in real life as well as provide a greater ability for counselors to share these practices with clients.
