Join presenter, Emily Moise-Fontenot, LPC-S, and the University Counseling Center for a one-day workshop aimed at enhancing your skills in working with individuals with Borderline Personality Disorder. We will collaboratively develop a Psychodynamic framework to understand this population and examine practical intervention strategies.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
-Review the latest research on the cause of BPD
-Learn to conceptualize the Borderline Personality Organization (BPO) from Psychodynamic Theory
-Gain insight into the psychic structure of the BPO
-Increase your understanding of the most frequently utilized defense mechanisms
-Learn the drama roles of this population
-Learn to attune to transference and countertransference
-Learn to navigate ego states
