I am pleased and honored to serve as LCA President for 2010-2011. The Louisiana Counseling Association (LCA) state branch of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and is the official professional organization for counselors in Louisiana. LCA is a network of greater than 1200 counseling and human development professionals who work in a variety of settings including but not limited to: schools and universities; health care facilities; hospitals; residential facilities; community agencies; businesses; government; industries and private practice.
Counseling students are the lifeblood of the counseling profession in Louisiana and the United States.
LCA wants to be a resource for you as you begin your career in counseling.Your work as a professional counselor, whether in the mental health field, as a school counselor, or any other counseling field, will be the key to helping thousands of people in Louisiana well into the 21st century.
